OUR MISSION STATMENT
ST JAMES WEDNESBURY
We believe that we are called by God to be a Local Parish Church working alongside other Christian Churches in Wednesbury and concerned above all to present Jesus Christ, the incarnate and risen Lord, to those amongst whom we live. We see ourselves as being a growing community of worship, prayer, mission and service to all within our parish.
Because we are a Church of England parish, we have a care for everyone living in the parish, whatever their faith or none. The majority of our parishioners are of the Muslim faith; we seek respectfully to learn from people of other faiths in Wednesbury, knowing that our fundamental purpose is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the lives we live and the words we speak.
